The Secret to Printing Extended Content Labels on a Digital Press
The secret to printing extended content labels on a digital press is to use an upgraded flexographic press for the finishing. Specifically, the trick is to add the Servo 3000 easily attached press add on. Although there are a number of machines available for finishing work done on a digital press, none of them is capable of the precise re-registration of the web necessary for precise die cutting and stripping, as well as lamination of extended content (multilayer) labels.
Digital press printing is a fast and efficient solution to many printing jobs. Because of the reduced set up cost and time for a digital press this solution is ideal for short runs of any printing job, including labels. A digital press may, in fact, be the ideal solution for printing extended content labels. The reason lies in just why a product has an extended content label in the first place. Extended content labels are used on pharmaceuticals, herbicides, pesticides, and other products that require specific instructions or precautions.
Because many of these products are subject to governmental regulations the specific labeling or language will often require several versions. The ease of changing the message in digital printing makes the digital press the best solution when labels need to be printed in German, Castilian Spanish, French, British English, US English, Latin American Spanish, and Portuguese, as well as Han Chinese and Japanese. Well, you get the picture. Now we have many groups of labels, printed to be assembled in layers, and ready for finishing. They may need adhesive applied and they will need lamination. They will need to be die cut and then stripped.
Here is where the Servo 3000 Digital Infeed + Re-register™ system made by Rotary Technologies comes in. A standard flexographic press fitted with Servo 3000 can, in fact, be used to print extended content labels. For long runs it is typically a better choice than a digital press. For short runs the digital press is usually the better choice. Then, even when the text on the labels changes from Portuguese to Chinese, the Servo 3000 assisted press can be used to finish the work. For both printing multilayer labels and finishing them the problem is the same, obtaining and maintaining precise web registration.
The press fitted with the Servo 3000 re-registers the web of the labels produced by the digital press. Then the operator needs to run two layers together and register both webs together in order to accurately laminate, die cut, and strip. The Servo 3000 automates this tough job. Because Servo 3000 can re-register the web from the digital press the first layer is automatically laminated in register to the base layer. Thus the operator only needs to register one web at a time while the Servo 3000 performs the complex task. Using a press fitted with the Servo 3000 upgrade a printer can use this machine for finishing multilayer labels printed on a digital press. Unlike a "stand alone" finishing solution a flexo press can go back to its original work between finishing work done on a digital press. Unlike any of the "stand alone" finishing machines a flexographic press equipped with the Servo 3000 can precisely finish extended content labels as well. That is the "secret" to printing extended content labels on a digital press.
The Servo 3000 not only allows a standard flexographic press to act in its "secret" capacity as a finisher of digital press extended content labels. It will allow a standard press to run second pass work at 0.0025 inch resolution at full press speed. The extreme precision offered by a Servo 3000 assisted press allows a printer to fix design errors such as inaccurate bar codes and not throw out an entire run of substrate. It allows the printer to take on more sophisticated jobs such as printing flexible electronic circuits as well. The benefits of using the Servo 3000 include substantially reduced material waste and the ability for a press to double or triple its color capacity. can i apply for united state citizenship after 7 years German press visa?
No, unfortunately it is not possible for you to apply for US citizenship regardless of how long you lived in the US on any kind of temporary (i.e non-immigrant) visa.
To apply for citizenship you have to first become a lawful permanent resident ( i.e a green card holder) and continuously reside in the US for 5 years. This period can be reduced to 3 years if you are married to a US citizen. It can be shortened even further for someone serving in the US army.
There is no way to become a citizen without first getting a green card.
