Is it just me, or do Mozart's Violin Concerto No5 2nd Mov and Bach's Double Violin Concerto in D minor 2nd Mov?
Is it just me, or do Mozart's Violin Concerto No5 2nd Mov and Bach's Double Violin Concerto in D minor 2nd Mov sound strikingly similar? There is a melody in Mozart's piece that reminds me so much of Bach's piece. Anyone else hear this? Is it common in classical pieces?
I don't see any resemblance except that both pieces are really of the most heavenly pieces ever composed, they are of my top favourite pieces and I deeply love them.
I have other example, which is the strong resemblance of Beethoven's Appassionata 3rd movement, the part from 1:10 to 1:26 in this link :
with Chopin's ending of Ballade No. 1, in G minor, the part from 8:15 to 8:25 in this link :
